Developing in urban localities – partners of UNDP “LA 21 in Moldova” Project of sufficient capacities for ensuring sustainability of the LA 21 process

Activities as follows were carried out during the project:

1. Identifying five optimal forms of institutional organizing in order to ensure the sustainability of Local Agenda 21 in partner towns
2. Assessment of the training necessities for the UCLA 21 personnel and for local partners
3. Organizing a cycle of seminars (3 modules) for UC personnel and for LPA representatives and other social actors from the partner-towns according to the identified necessities
4. Elaboration of the set of documents for registering new institutional entities
5. Registering the institutions that had to ensure the sustainability of LA 21 in the partner-towns
6. Assisting the new created institutions’ personnel in elaborating the Action Plan for ensuring LA 21 sustainability
7. Organizing a totalizing conference on disseminating project results.
